This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In the International Year One programme, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.
The Pre-masters program in Science and Engineering will let you explore and begin to understand the power of science and engineering in the real world by studying relevant courses such as programming and systems control, mathematics for computing and engineering and data analysis and modelling. While you begin to learn the technical and applied aspects of science and engineering you also are provided with a critical outlook and approach employers want in your chosen field.
Understand the causes, effects and ultimate explanations for the evolution of animal behaviour. During this Master of Research in Animal Behaviour, you’ll learn to apply that understanding to conserve and manage species.
Learn from Evolution, Behaviour and Environment faculty in the School of Life Sciences, with interdisciplinary links to the School of Psychology, the Department of Informatics and Sussex Neuroscience.
You’ll develop an advanced knowledge and practical research skills in animal behaviour. This will put you in a strong position to move on to a PhD or a research career.
You’ll study at our University campus situated in the Brighton and Lewes Downs UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and within the South Downs National Park, so you can carry out field exercises right on the doorstep.
