The International Foundation Year is designed specifically to prepare international students for degree-level study at Kingston University, London. Our Social Sciences programme will prepare you for a degree across a range of areas, including Film, History, Journalism, Politics, Television and Psychology. Once you have successfully completed your International Foundation Year and achieved the required progression grades, you will progress to your chosen degree programme.
Our Forensic Psychology BSc (Hons) focuses upon these main areas and specializes in the social, biological and cognitive components underlying criminal behaviour. On this course you will study relationships between brain and behaviour, interaction within groups, and how human beings learn and develop.
This course combines theoretical and practical approaches central to the investigative process. You will learn about the reasons for assessing risk and analyze the validity of instruments used.
You'll also examine the impact of crime on the broader community, the treatment of those who have committed offenses and connections between mental disorders and offending behaviours.
