This program consists of a pathway program offered by INTO at the International Study Centre for the University of Exeter followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Exeter. International Year One will help you establish the necessary English language abilities, skills and pertinent subject-specific knowledge needed to flourish in your intended academic degree. 

International Year One is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree in the United Kingdom. During the programme students will spend time improving their English language abilities, research skills as well as taking course modules related to your intended field of study. An International Year One program will allow you to complete your intended degree in the same amount of time as direct entry students.

• Taught in partnership between Exeter’s Mathematics department and The University of Exeter’s triple-accredited Business School
• Explore modern economics, including topics from inflation to the control of monopoly power, and from the study of developing countries to the finance of multinational companies
• Opportunity to extend your degree and spend a ‘Year in Industry’ at companies such as Lloyds Banking Group, Coca-Cola, Met Office and PwC
• Previous study of Economics is not required to join this programme
