Academic Accelerator Program (AAP) is a balanced first-year program for international students with good English-language skills. It supplements immersive classes taught in English with just the right amount of support.

 

As a student in the Academic Accelerator, you’ll receive:

The Bachelor of Science in accounting offers a proven business education that prepares students for accounting careers across the public and private sectors. Being considered as the language of business, accounting core courses help you develop fluency. Financial and cost accounting, auditing, tax, ethics, accounting systems and research build the foundation for understanding accounting as one of the most essential areas of business.

 

 

As you begin to learn more about accounting, you may choose to go into one of many specialized areas: corporate accounting, government accounting, nonprofit accounting, public accounting-tax or public accounting-audit. You will find a wide range of courses that help you move forward on the path that best fits your goals.

With an accounting degree, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to:

• Prepare tax returns for a large or small business
• Formulate financial reports for shareholders
• Organize and manage a company’s financial records
• Evaluate a nonprofit’s financial operations
• Audit businesses for a government agency
• Counsel management on ways to reduce costs, boost revenues, and increase profits

• Minimum Level of Education Required: Grade 12 / High School
• Min GPA: 63.0% Convert grades
• English Proficiency Requirements:
  For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:

  • Min TOEFL iBT: 68 (Min Listening: 14.0, Min Reading: 14.0, Min Speaking: 14.0, Min Writing: 14.0)

  • Min IELTS overall: 5.5 (Min Listening: 5.0, Min Reading: 5.0, Min Speaking: 5.0, Min Writing: 5.0)

  • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 90

  • Min PTE overall: 46 (Min Listening: 42, Min Reading: 42, Min Speaking: 42, Min Writing: 42)
