The Bachelor of Arts (Global Studies) will prepare students to become an active global citizen; the type of person who can find creative ways to address the challenges faced by the international community, both now and in the future. Students will explore the complex, interconnected and culturally diverse nature of the contemporary world, and think critically about issues within their global context.

Over the course of study, students will develop the flexibility, analytical skills and global mindset to adapt effectively in rapidly changing work environments. Students will graduate possessing the intercultural skills and global interdisciplinary understanding necessary for a career across government, business or the non-government organisation sector globally.

Admission Requirements

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: Grade 12 / High School
  • Min GPA: 50.0% 
  • English Proficiency Requirements:
    For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 60 (Min Listening: 12.0, Min Reading: 13.0, Min Speaking: 18.0, Min Writing: 21.0)
    • Min IELTS overall: 6 (Min Listening: 6.0, Min Reading: 6.0, Min Speaking: 6.0, Min Writing: 6.0)
    • Min PTE overall: 50 (Min Listening: 50, Min Reading: 50, Min Speaking: 50, Min Writing: 50)
    For conditional admission, you are required to provide English proficiency scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 32
    • Min IELTS overall: 4.5
