With the core knowledge base founded in year one, students will have the confidence to start thinking about employability and their career, even at this early stage.
This course offers a huge amount of flexibility after first year, which means students can really tailor the course to their career aspirations. Modules vary from the creative to the technical but all are relevant to the modern workplace and are taught by leaders in their fields.
Topics include international marketing, organisational psychology, strategy, operations management, law, statistics, business intelligence, human resources, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, digital marketing, industrial relations, consumer psychology, creativity and innovation, and decision sciences.
Students can choose to specialise in a particular area of business, or keep their options open with a wide range of subjects.
The department teaches many modules through case studies, so students benefit from the subject matter being put in a real-world context. They also have strong relationships with businesses and alumni. This means students will have the opportunity to learn from, and network with, professionals in a range of sectors.
The BA in Business Management is Triple Crown Accredited (AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS)
