The Film & Screen degree bridges the gap between traditional film-making and the fast-changing technological landscape of the 21st century.
The first year focuses on core creative processes involved in film, TV and digital media. Students will develop practical skills in screenwriting, producing, editing and production management. The second and third years are dedicated to a chosen pathway, enabling students to develop the specialist skills needed to work in a specific area of the industry.
The TV & Digital Media Pathway
The TV & Digital Media pathway focuses on producing and storytelling for the small screen.
From day one, students produce original work using specialist equipment. This practical experience will develop skills in 360-degree, multi-platform broadcasting. As well as practical work, students explore the rich history and evolution of broadcast media.
Students will also have the option to study abroad at to broaden their understanding of this global industry.
