Program Description

This balanced programme of language study and lecture-based modules helps students develop a critical understanding of Korea. Students will learn the Korean language from scratch and spend a year studying in Seoul at one of The University of Sheffield's partner universities.

Students have a choice of modules that cover East Asia as a region, highlighting Korean issues in a regional or global context. Towards the end of their course, students will focus on more advanced and vocational skills in writing, summary, precision translation, debate and oral presentation.
