At Middlesex University, students will learn the principles of the English legal system, and gain reflection through social, political, economic, ethical and historical perspectives. They’ll also build a range of transferable skills, including abstract thinking and problem-solving, that will allow them to prepare practically as well as academically for a successful legal career.

Middlesex' School of Law is leading pioneering research across key legal disciplines including international criminal law, and immigration with a focus on human rights. Students will get access to plenty of support from tutors who bring global experience and a diverse range of academic interests that will help shape their studies and expertise.

After students have completed their year one modules, they’ll have the option to transfer to year two of the LLB, which, on completion will lead to the academic and vocational training required to become a fully qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales.

Students will have use of original council chambers featuring a judge's bench and public gallery for mooting and lectures. Work-based and skills-based modules will allow students to gain practical, hands-on experience, and employability skills in both legal and non-legal environments.
