Bachelor of Arts - Liberal Arts & Sciences at University of Birmingham - Kaplan: Tuition Fee: £19,980.00 GBP / Year (Scholarship Available)

This prestigious undergraduate Liberal Arts and Sciences degree course is designed for talented students who want to study a variety of subjects at degree level. Each student creates their own unique program which combines arts and/or sciences and/or social sciences. Students will typically centre their studies at University around one subject, the Major, which will serve as a specialism. This is then complemented with a variety of different subjects to give students an original portfolio of expertise.

This exciting four-year degree program offers a rich extra-curricular experience to make students stand out in a competitive graduate market. The Cultural Program will expand students' educations beyond the lecture hall or seminar room and into new and exciting spaces to give them new experiences.  Students will broaden their global potential through the Year Abroad, which will allow them to spend the third year of the degree course studying at one of a choice of over 250 institutions.  In addition, the university has offered a broad suite of other interdisciplinary experiences such as trips to the Lake District, Brussels, Romania, Rome, and now a Summer School.

Students will also have the option to decide whether to graduate with a BA, BSc, MArt, MSci or Natural Sciences qualification, all from the same point of entry (Liberal Arts and Sciences), subject to their portfolio of modules.

Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences students will be part of a vibrant and diverse community that welcomes and celebrates differences. There are many opportunities to help shape the School, such as participating in student-leadership groups, themed Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences community meetings, and a curriculum development group.  Students can also get involved by taking a role in the thriving Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences Society, or one of the Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences official student-ambassador positions (current roles include Media and Communications, and Equality and Diversity).  In addition to the Cultural Program, there are normally plenty of social events where students can mix with fellow students and staff, such as regular tea and biscuits on Mondays, the Christmas party, and other events that take place in the Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences hub.
