With a Bachelor of Design (Industrial Design) students will apply both traditional and advanced digital techniques to a wide range of products, while gaining a knowledge of both materials and production processes. Students will explore advanced communication skills, including digital manipulation and fabrication via additive and subtractive technologies, and will develop user-centred approaches to developing products.

The course will allow students to develop in-depth understandings of their specialised area while also expanding their potential as a designer. Students will graduate as a resilient and adaptive design professional capable of solving a wide array of problems, and able to make significant contributions to any interdisciplinary industrial design team.

Admission Requirements

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: Grade 12 / High School
  • Min GPA: 50.0% 
  • English Proficiency Requirements:
    For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 60 (Min Listening: 12.0, Min Reading: 13.0, Min Speaking: 18.0, Min Writing: 21.0)
    • Min IELTS overall: 6 (Min Listening: 6.0, Min Reading: 6.0, Min Speaking: 6.0, Min Writing: 6.0)
    • Min PTE overall: 50 (Min Listening: 50, Min Reading: 50, Min Speaking: 50, Min Writing: 50)
    For conditional admission, you are required to provide English proficiency scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 32
    • Min IELTS overall: 4.5
