Bachelor of Fine Arts - Studio Art at University of West Florida - Pensacola: Tuition: $15,421.00 USD/year (Scholarship Available)

The Bachelor of Fine Arts: Studio Art Specialization (B.F.A. in Studio Art) provides students with the technical and conceptual tools to participate in a complex contemporary art world where the boundaries between disciplines of visual art and design are increasingly blurred. Incoming students are listed with a 'B.F.A. Pending' degree status. Students are fully admitted to the program through an application process and portfolio review that takes place in their Sophomore or Junior year.

The curriculum includes training in art foundations and offers a full range of advanced studio coursework including: Drawing, Painting, Photography, Ceramics, Sculpture and Printmaking.  Art History courses are required as a strong complementary component of the program. These classes provide a broad awareness of the diverse aspects of past and present cultures in order for students to develop the capacity for effective communication and creative expression.

The B.F.A. in Studio Art degree program is a partner program with the Digital Art Specialization. While students in Studio Art or Digital Art focus in a specialization, they may take elective coursework from either area to strengthen technical skills and awareness in traditional and contemporary art.
