A Bachelor of Health Sciences degree (BHSc) provides students with an interdisciplinary perspective of health and well-being. Our interdisciplinary curriculum provides a solid foundation for students wishing to pursue professional training in medicine, or rehabilitation sciences (such as, speech pathology, physical therapy, or occupational therapy). It also provides an excellent background for students interested in careers or master's-level education in areas of health promotion, health policy, gerontology, bioethics, or health measurement.
Rehabilitation Sciences help students understand the fundamental factors associated with identifying, treating, and rehabilitating members of society with a goal of improving qualify of life. Rehabilitation Sciences explores the theories underlying rehabilitation of children and adults as well as studying the impact and effects of mental health, disease, and human movement.
NOTE: Please note the English scores listed are minimum requirements. Meeting the minimums does not guarantee admission. Students with low English scores may be admitted to the English BOOST Program, a 9 week training program for conditional admission to their chosen program.
