Program Description

This is a four-year course including a year of study abroad in a choice of over 70 destinations. It covers all the basic subjects in the Common Law of England and Wales, with an emphasis on the European and international legal contexts.

Students study the principles of comparative law in the first year and international law in the second year. Students spend their third year studying law - in English - at one of The University of Sheffield's partner universities overseas. They then return to Sheffield to complete their degrees.

This course is recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Bar Standards Board as Qualifying Law Degrees for the purposes of satisfying the academic stage of training.
