Led by a team of researchers, the biomedical science degree gives students the skills, techniques and hands-on experience they need to succeed in the field of biomedical science. Using real-life clinical laboratory challenges, students will develop their specialist knowledge and learn everything from microscopy and blood typing to DNA analysis, tissue identification and everything in between. Students will learn from their experiences in science research, biomedical science and medicine – and their current on-campus research into  biomarkers, cancer treatment and rapid testing of infectious disease.
