This degree integrates applied and hands-on learning with theoretical and conceptual curriculum.  This type of engineering degree prepares students to enter the workforce as engineers with skills that are applicable to a wide variety of industries. 

Program Options:

• Bio-Engineering Technology - graduates will be prepared to enter job markets in fields such as environmental mitigation, alternative fuels, pharmaceuticals, beverage and food development, and bio-derived materials.
• Chemical Engineering Technology - graduates are prepared to analyze chemical, thermal and fluid processes; evaluate fluid-flow, heat transfer, chemical separation and reactor unit operations; research new products and systems; and characterize material samples – just to name a few.
• Electro-Mechanical Technology - graduates are prepared to compete for high demand and well-paying careers in manufacturing, engineering and R&D.

Admission Requirements

• Minimum Level of Education Required: Grade 12 / High School
• Min GPA: 60.0% Convert grades
• English Proficiency Requirements:
  For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:

  • Min TOEFL iBT: 61

  • Min IELTS overall: 5.5

  • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 90

  • Min PTE overall: 46

  Applicants interested in applying for direct admission, but are yet to complete an acceptable language test, can do so, but must provide valid results before receiving a final offer letter.

  For conditional admission, instead of submitting language proficiency test scores, applicants may complete English courses prior to the academic program. The length of the English course is determined based on the applicant's level of English proficiency.
