In the Bachelor of Science - Health Education and Health Promotion program, students learn how to help communities advocate for healthier environments as well as how to teach individuals how to get and stay healthy. They learn to plan, implement, manage and evaluate health promotion programs.

With a variety of course options, students can specialize their knowledge in areas like diabetes prevention, sexual health, climate and health, HIV and substance abuse prevention, emergency preparedness, social media and health, body image and wellness, school health, and violence prevention.

Graduates become catalysts for improving community and individual well-being through health education and promotion.
