By providing students with ‘hands on’ experience and understanding of the core Sport Science studies of human responses to adventure environments and performance in adventure sports, they will gain the skills required for a career in the expanding Adventure market. This essential core Sport Science knowledge is uniquely combined with the continuous opportunity to develop their own adventure and outdoor skills. Specifically, as well as learning core Performance and exercise science, they will complete ‘doing’ modules with the emphasis on adventuring out and learning practically. If students want to get out in the mountains, beaches, camp, hike, scramble, winter walk, climb, explore the sea cliffs on foot and from a kayak, and want to do it practically ‘hands on’ through whole days out then this is the right course.

Admission Requirements

• Minimum Level of Education Required: 1-Year Post-Secondary Certificate
• Min GPA: 60.0% Convert grades
• English Proficiency Requirements:
  For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:

  • Min TOEFL iBT: 75 (Min Listening: 17.0, Min Reading: 18.0, Min Speaking: 20.0, Min Writing: 18.0)

  • Min IELTS overall: 6 (Min Listening: 5.5, Min Reading: 5.5, Min Speaking: 5.5, Min Writing: 5.5)

  • Min PTE overall: 56 (Min Listening: 51, Min Reading: 51, Min Speaking: 51, Min Writing: 51)

  Applicants interested in applying for direct admission, but are yet to complete an acceptable language test, can do so, but must provide valid results before receiving a final offer letter.

  For conditional admission, you are required to provide English proficiency scores:

  • Min TOEFL iBT: 32

  • Min IELTS overall: 4 (Min Listening: 4, Min Reading: 4, Min Speaking: 4, Min Writing: 4)

  • Min PTE overall: 30 (Min Listening: 30, Min Reading: 30, Min Speaking: 30, Min Writing: 30)
