Program Description

This course educates landscape architects to have an in-depth understanding of ecology and habitat creation. Students interested in biology and the natural world will enjoy the focus of this course.

Students will learn about ecological processes and the impact that design proposals have on habitat. In a world facing a climate crisis, this course will give students specialist training to protect and restore existing habitats as well as create new places in which nature thrives.

Accreditation allows graduates to pursue their professional qualification in landscape architecture and become a licentiate Member of the Landscape Institute, ready to start their Pathway to Chartership and become a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
