The College of Nursing offers the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree through four distinct options. “Pre-Licensure” academically describes the traditional BSN options found in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, NMNEC Dual Degree options, and the Freshman Honors Direct Entry. These are appropriate for students that do not already hold an RN license and are academically the same. The RN to BSN Degree Completion option is for students that currently hold an RN license via an associate degree.  

The goals of the College of Nursing are to prepare successful nursing professionals, create a community within the University of New Mexico College of Nursing that is diverse, inclusive and supportive, and to develop and sustain collaborative partnerships.
