This is a 4-year course. During the first 3 years, students will follow the same degree course structure as Marine Biology and Oceanography BSc. At the end of Year 2, providing a satisfactory mark has been obtained, students continue with Year 3 of the BSc course and proceed to a 4th year specialised course. In Year 4 students carry out a substantial piece of research which forms the Year 4 dissertation. Students will be able to work in a staff member’s research group and will gain valuable research experience of working in a research environment.
