Graduates of Business English (Thesis / Non-Thesis) Master's Programs can work as experts and managers in marketing, sales, purchasing, finance, human resources, production management and other fields in all sectors and businesses from national and international banking to trade, from production to education, from health to tourism. WHO CAN APPLY?
Those who have received a bachelor's degree from a department of any 4-year higher education institution can apply to Business Administration (English) Master's Programs. A bachelor degree in a specific branch is not required to be able to apply.
WHY THESIS / NON-THESIS MASTER PROGRAM
Beykoz University Business English Master's Program is offered with and without thesis. The master's program without thesis is presented as a program for professional life, while the master's program with thesis offers opportunities for an academic career. Those who have completed the master's program with thesis can continue their education at the doctoral level.
DURATION OF THE PROGRAM
The duration of the Non-Thesis Master's Program is at least 2 semesters and it is completed in 3 semesters at most. The Master's Program with Thesis is completed in a minimum of 4 semesters and a maximum of 6 semesters. In case of absence due to valid reasons, maximum 2 semesters of registration can be frozen.
STRUCTURE OF THE PROGRAM
The Master of Business Administration Program without Thesis consists of 10 courses and a Master's Term Project. The Master of Business Administration Program with Thesis consists of 7 courses, 1 seminar course and a Master's Thesis. Courses consist of compulsory courses and elective courses. In the Master without Thesis program, the student prepares a term project under the supervision of a term project advisor and presents it to her/his advisor. In the thesis program, the student prepares the thesis by doing the thesis work under the supervision of the thesis advisor and defends the thesis before a jury to be determined by completing the necessary steps. The language of instruction is English.
APPLICATION AND EVALUATION
The application is made by filling out the online application form on the Beykoz University website. It is mandatory to upload a diploma, transcript and a short CV during online application, and the originals of these documents are required during registration. For applications to the non-thesis master's program, GPA and ALES conditions are not required.
In order to apply to the master's program with thesis, at least 55 points in Equal Weight (EA) score type from the ALES exam is required. Candidates who meet the application requirements for the thesis program are invited for an interview, and no interview is held for the non-thesis program. English proficiency is sought for applications to Business Administration (English) Thesis / Non-thesis master's programs.
Candidates are required to submit a document showing that they have obtained at least 60 points from YDS / e-YDS / YÖKDİL exams or an equivalent score from an international foreign language exam accepted as equivalent by ÖSYM. Candidates whose level of English is not sufficient are taken to the English preparatory class. Candidates who fill out the online application form completely are taken into consideration.
TRAINING PLACE, DAYS AND HOURS
The classes are held at the Beykoz University Kavacık Campus, on weekdays at 18: 30-21: 30; and between 10:00 and 16:00 on Saturdays. With the agreements that can be made between our university and institutions, a special program can be created only for the employees of the relevant institution who meet the above-mentioned admission conditions. In this case, lessons can be held partially or completely in a place determined by the institution.
