The Master of Computer Science (Software Engineering) focuses on preparing current Information and Communication Technology (ICT) professionals with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology for the challenges of rapidly advancing ICT technologies.

The degree will be a valuable asset if students are seeking to further their career in managerial roles related to information technology. It can also prepare ICT professionals for entry into research degrees: Master of Philosophy and PhD.

The Master of Computer Science gives graduates the ability to solve complex real world problems by integrating computer science methods with effective management strategies, and by developing and deploying computer applications.

Students will study subjects in Service-Oriented Software Engineering, Software Requirements, Specification and Formal Methods, and Software Testing and Analysis. Students will be able to put theory into practice with an individual capstone project.

  • Min GPA: 60.0%

    For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 86 (Min Listening: 17.0, Min Reading: 18.0, Min Speaking: 17.0, Min Writing: 18.0)
    • Min IELTS overall: 6.5 (Min Listening: 6.0, Min Reading: 6.0, Min Speaking: 6.0, Min Writing: 6.0)
    • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 115
    • Min PTE overall: 62 (Min Listening: 54, Min Reading: 54, Min Speaking: 54, Min Writing: 54)
    For conditional admission, you are required to provide English proficiency scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 32
    • Min IELTS overall: 4.5 (Min Reading: 4, Min Writing: 4)
    • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 65
