Constant modernisation of global health services and continued emphasis on extending roles requires healthcare professionals to be flexible, competent practitioners. They must be able to cope with change and use complex decision making skills whilst employing a broad knowledge base for clinical practice. This course has been designed for international nurses or allied health professionals who wish to study at an advanced level and respond to these changes.

The course aims to develop professional and clinical knowledge, skills and attributes so that students can contribute to the contemporary health and social care challenges in their home country. The course has been developed to enhance applied research skills in addition to professional clinical knowledge and skills. Enhanced knowledge and skills will enable them to understand and respond to the pathophysiological, psychological and social processes which underlie our patients, clients and communities experience of illness, health and disease.

Admission Requirements

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: 4-Year Bachelor's Degree
  • Min GPA: 60.0% 
  • English Proficiency Requirements:
    For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
    • Min IELTS overall: 6 (Min Listening: 5.5, Min Reading: 5.5, Min Speaking: 5.5, Min Writing: 5.5)
    • Min PTE overall: 56 (Min Listening: 51, Min Reading: 51, Min Speaking: 51, Min Writing: 51)
    Applicants interested in applying for direct admission, but are yet to complete an acceptable language test, can do so, but must provide valid results before receiving a final offer letter.
    For conditional admission, you are required to provide English proficiency scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 32
    • Min IELTS overall: 4 (Min Listening: 4, Min Reading: 4, Min Speaking: 4, Min Writing: 4)
    • Min PTE overall: 30 (Min Listening: 30, Min Reading: 30, Min Speaking: 30, Min Writing: 30)
