3-Term Pathway International Foundation Year in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Continue to BSc. (Honours) Sports Science at Kingston University London International Study Centre, Tuition Fee:£14,300.00 GBP / Year (Scholarship Available)

This program consists of a pathway offered by Study Group at the International Study Centre for Kingston University, London followed by entry into a university program offered at Kingston University, London. An International Foundation Year will help you establish the necessary English language abilities, skills and pertinent subject-specific knowledge needed to flourish in your intended academic degree. 

The International Foundation Year is designed specifically to prepare international students for degree-level study at Kingston University, London. Studying Science, Engineering and Computing will prepare you for a degree across a range of exciting areas including Biochemistry, Civil Engineering, Creative Technology, Forensic Science, Mathematics and Sustainable Development. During your International Foundation Year you will study four modules continually across the three terms of study, including two compulsory modules and two further modules depending on your progression degree. Once you have successfully completed your International Foundation Year and achieved the required progression grades, you will progress to your chosen degree.

The course has a strong emphasis on practical learning. Our specialist exercise physiology and biomechanics laboratories will give you experience of using the latest equipment and analysis techniques. You will gain a comprehensive knowledge of the biomechanical analysis of human movement and sporting activity. You will learn how to apply this knowledge to improve sports performance and reduce the risk of injury.  

You will also study human behaviour in the exercise environment. You'll look at the relationship between exercise and health and well being, and how exercise could improve mental health. You will investigate how applied sport psychology can enhance sport training and performance. You'll learn how to evaluate and make informed judgements about the psychological factors that affect sports performance.
