This program is for students who are interested in a broad range of areas that don't fit into a traditional area of engineering. Students will learn to apply engineering principles to wherever humans interact with technology - environmental systems, robotics, and computer and interface design. The methods and approaches they will learn are applicable to the design of almost any product, tool, task, or system. The "Systems" in the name reflects the fact that this program takes a "big picture" approach to problem solving. Students will learn to look at a system as a whole before attempting to solve the problem. They will be able to see how one change will affect another element of the system. Students will also be able to explore and apply design principles in the Systems Design Workshop, get involved with projects such as the Midnight Sun solar car, and work on design projects of your own choosing in their upper years. To complement the required Engineering courses, students can choose from 200 elective courses.

  • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 120

  • Min PTE overall: 63 (Min Speaking: 65, Min Writing: 65)

  For conditional admission, you are required to provide English proficiency scores:

  • Min IELTS overall: 5.5 (Min Writing: 5)

  • Min PTE overall: 46
