Recognized as one of the best in North America, Waterloo's School of Architecture provides students with a creative, international education. It's the only school of architecture in the world that gives students access to paid co-op work experience with top design firms starting in second year. Right from the first day of classes, they will be taking design courses and have their own space in the bright studios. Students will enjoy a small community with a vibrant intellectual atmosphere. The cultural history courses, which examine the close relationship between architecture and society, and our environmental courses add depth to core courses in design. Students will spend the fall of fourth year at the studio in Rome, one of the world's great cities for culture and architecture.

• Min GPA: 88.0% Convert grades

  For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:

  • Min TOEFL iBT: 90 (Min Speaking: 25.0, Min Writing: 25.0)

  • Min IELTS overall: 6.5 (Min Listening: 6.0, Min Reading: 6.0, Min Speaking: 6.5, Min Writing: 6.5)

  • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 120

  • Min PTE overall: 63 (Min Speaking: 65, Min Writing: 65)
