The University of Canberra’s Bachelor of Arts (Digital Media) is a specialist course that focuses on the essential practical knowledge needed to create complex interactive media. Students will gain up-to-date skills using industry-standard technologies in virtual and augmented reality, digital photography, digital audio, interactive fiction, video and animation to create digital media stories and experiences for the 21st century. Students will graduate with the expertise needed to find work in this flourishing creative industry and, more importantly, the knowledge that they can adapt to whatever the future holds.

Admission Requirements

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: Grade 12 / High School
  • Min GPA: 50.0% 
  • English Proficiency Requirements:
    For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 60 (Min Listening: 12.0, Min Reading: 13.0, Min Speaking: 18.0, Min Writing: 21.0)
    • Min IELTS overall: 6 (Min Listening: 6.0, Min Reading: 6.0, Min Speaking: 6.0, Min Writing: 6.0)
    • Min PTE overall: 50 (Min Listening: 50, Min Reading: 50, Min Speaking: 50, Min Writing: 50)
    For conditional admission, you are required to provide English proficiency scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 32
    • Min IELTS overall: 4.5
