This combined degree will teach students how to create innovative designs based on market research, consumer needs and commercial environments. 

Students will gain an understanding of global issues, changing trends and emerging markets, as well as fashion promotion and communication.

Alongside key marketing theories, students will learn a range of digital and traditional design and marketing techniques.

Practical workshops are underpinned by marketing theory. Students will develop a unique design philosophy based on in-depth market research and analysis and learn how to create fashion designs that incorporate the needs of the target audience while engaging with the ethical, cultural and environmental issues impacting the wider fashion industry. 

There are plenty of opportunities to participate in live projects, including our annual fashion show.
