This combined pathway will train students in key public relations and marketing practices, giving them the specialist skills to work across both disciplines.  

Students will explore how the fashion industry promotes its products and creates brand awareness through the web, advertising, advertorials, packaging and publicity.   

Using market research, students will learn how to build integrated marketing and PR campaigns that effectively promote fashion stories, products and brands. 

Students will experiment with telling stories using a range of digital and more traditional platforms and explore how technology has shaped the fashion marketing and public relations landscape.  

Using contemporary brands as case studies, students will examine the application of different digital marketing and social media strategies including branding, CRM, analytics and metrics, search engine optimisation and content creation.  

They will also have the opportunity to create your own fashion film as a promotional tactic. This practical exercise will help students understand how different techniques and commercial applications can enhance brand awareness and strengthen a brand’s unique personality.  

This degree will train students to become media-savvy fashion marketers or PR experts who are able to build integrated strategies that effectively engage with target audiences.
