Students in the interesting and exciting Politics, Philosophy, and Economics program (PPE) will take courses in three departments, receive a multi-faceted education and be prepared to take on leadership roles in domestic or international politics, law, public policy, economics and business. This department provides a pathway to professional and graduate programs in public policy, law, journalism, philosophy, political science, economics, and business.
Students will be able to understand, for example, how the economy impacts the decisions made by politicians who have their own philosophical policy preferences but are faced with institutional constraints created by the government’s structure and their global trading partners.
