Bachelor of Kinesiology (Direct Entry) at University of Manitoba: Tuition: $21,100.00 CAD/year (Scholarship Available)

The Bachelor of Kinesiology degree is a four-year degree program that prepares students to work in important areas of health and well-being, including sport and fitness, chronic disease prevention, physical activity and health promotion, rehabilitation, sport science, aging, and corporate / community wellness. In addition to classroom lectures, the program offers hands on learning through fully equipped human performance laboratories and provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience through a supervised fieldwork experience. Flexible programming also allows students to take additional courses, such as fitness-related or coaching certification courses, or the ability to choose a complimentary minor from a wide range of departments.

Admission Requirements

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: Grade 12 / High School
  • Min GPA: 50.0% 
  • English Proficiency Requirements:
    For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 86 (Min Listening: 20.0, Min Reading: 20.0, Min Speaking: 20.0, Min Writing: 20.0)
    • Min IELTS overall: 6.5 (Min Listening: 6.0, Min Reading: 6.0, Min Speaking: 6.0, Min Writing: 6.0)
    • Min PTE overall: 58
    Applicants interested in applying for direct admission, but are yet to complete an acceptable language test, can do so, but must provide valid results before receiving a final offer letter.
