The Applied Music major in the Bachelor of Music degree program is designed for students interested in a career in music performance. Students receive rigorous training in their particular area of study. Concentrations include:

  • Piano
  • Voice
  • Organ
  • Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, and Saxophone
  • Percussion
  • Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Tuba, and Euphonium
  • Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, and Harp

Admission Requirements

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: Grade 12 / High School
  • Min GPA: 77.0% 
  • English Proficiency Requirements:
    For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 80
    • Min IELTS overall: 6.5
    • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 110
    • Min PTE overall: 60
