Agroecology specializes in the management and conservation of our natural and agricultural resources. Agroecologists develop environmentally friendly weed, insect and disease controls and also help farmers conserve their land and protect Canada’s wildlife and water supply.
The Bachelor of Science (Agroecology) is the ideal program for students with a passion for the planet. Students will learn the biological and physical components of ecosystems, and how to achieve economically sustainable agricultural production while conserving resources and maintaining the integrity of our ecosystems.

Admission Requirements
- Minimum Level of Education Required: Grade 12 / High School
- Min GPA: 50.0%
- English Proficiency Requirements:
For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
- Min TOEFL iBT: 86 (Min Listening: 20.0, Min Reading: 20.0, Min Speaking: 20.0, Min Writing: 20.0)
- Min IELTS overall: 6.5 (Min Listening: 6.0, Min Reading: 6.0, Min Speaking: 6.0, Min Writing: 6.0)
- Min PTE overall: 58
Applicants interested in applying for direct admission, but are yet to complete an acceptable language test, can do so, but must provide valid results before receiving a final offer letter.This program does NOT offer conditional admission
