The Biochemistry major is designed to provide a firm foundation in biochemistry and prepare students for careers in health-related disciplines. A solid background in biochemistry is an important advantage for medical school and many Biochemistry majors declare a Pre-Health track. Biochemistry students are encouraged to take more biology courses than the typical chemistry major. Available courses include:

  • English Proficiency Requirements:
    For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:

    • Min IELTS overall: 6.5
    • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 110
    • Min PTE overall: 60
