The Master of Education (Educational Leadership) is for people who are currently in educational leadership roles or who wish to pursue leadership positions in educational settings such as schools, early childhood, higher education and vocational education. During this degree students will study the fundamentals of educational leadership and management, and learn how to apply this to their practice as an educator. Students will also enhance their skills in areas such as mentoring new educators, managing curricula and assessment, supporting staff development, and leading organisational change. Throughout the degree, students will build the skills to investigate and solve complex issues in a rapidly changing educational climate and conduct an individualised research project that ties in with their work and interests.

Students have the opportunity to incorporate electives from other education specialisations such as Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Special Education, Adult and Vocational Education, or Information and Communication Technology in Education and Training (ICT), in order to tailor their degree. Students will also benefit from flexible study options that allow students to study online or in the classroom.

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: 3-Year Bachelor's Degree
  • Min GPA: 50.0% 
  • English Proficiency Requirements:
    For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 86 (Min Listening: 17.0, Min Reading: 18.0, Min Speaking: 17.0, Min Writing: 18.0)
    • Min IELTS overall: 6.5 (Min Listening: 6.0, Min Reading: 6.0, Min Speaking: 6.0, Min Writing: 6.0)
    • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 115
    • Min PTE overall: 62 (Min Listening: 54, Min Reading: 54, Min Speaking: 54, Min Writing: 54)
    For conditional admission, you are required to provide English proficiency scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 32
    • Min IELTS overall: 4.5 (Min Reading: 4, Min Writing: 4)
    • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 65
