On these BSc and MPhys Physics courses, students will study core topics, such as particle, nuclear and atomic physics, and optional modules. During their first year, students can switch between any of the specialist physics courses.

The option to take an integrated research year or Professional Training placement also gives students invaluable hands-on experience to enhance their employability.

Students can apply to study for either a BSc or an MPhys (Master of Physics), a direct route to a masters qualification. Included in the MPhys is an integrated research year, which allows them to develop their skills in an academic or industrial arena, before returning for your final masters-level modules.

Depending on their progress, students may have the option to switch to a BSc or MPhys during their studies.
