The Master’s Accelerator Program (MAP) is a two-semester program exclusively offered to aspirational international students. MAP students benefit from wrap-around support and language for discipline-specific purposes. Your curriculum will include advanced writing, public speaking and research instruction; each course is designed to help ensure your success at USC. The small class sizes, hands-on and interactive programs and unique curriculum are designed to help you progress seamlessly into your master’s degree program.
The Master of Science in Sport and Entertainment Management (MSEM) is a 36-credit hour degree program that is designed to train students for management and leadership roles in the sport, entertainment and venue industries. Students can elect thesis or non-thesis option.
Upon the graduation, students will:
- Be able to apply learned concepts and theory to demonstrate an understanding of the nature of the sport and entertainment industry.
- Understand and have an appreciation for how research is used by and beneficial for sport and entertainment organizations and/or academics.
- Demonstrate an ability to develop and explain workable solutions to various industry problems.
